Rugby method is the brainchild of former professional rugby player Marc Stcherbina. Born and raised in Sydney, Australia, Marc started his Pro career at age 20, at which time he also graduated from his University Degree in Sports Science at UNSW. He continued to embark on an illustrious 12 year playing career, representing his state and country for five seasons before leaving Sydney to play in France, England and Wales, where his career abruptly ended due to a serious neck injury. After successful surgery and lengthy recovery process, Marc decided to take some time out and travel, while also taking time to achieve a Level 3 Diploma in Personal Training.
During his travels, Marc fell in love with California, particularly it’s amazing climate and emphasis on healthy living. He decided this was the place to pass on his experience and knowledge, and motivate others to achieve their health and fitness goals. Since living in Los Angeles for 4 years, Marc has also built an impressive coaching CV, having coached the Santa Monica Dolphins and National level teams including the USA Maccabiah, Women's High School and Men's Junior All American teams.
With Marc's commitment to developing the game of rugby in America, he co-founded SoCal Rugby Camps, which delivers high quality rugby training and coaching to school and youth clubs, while also offering work shops for aspiring rugby coaches in the Southern California area.
